Alternative/Indie rock band The Misters got their start in Fall 2001 as Alec Jensen, Stephen Dahmer, Tom Giltrow and Steve Hall. The Misters released their first LP, Distant Possibilities, in November of 2002 on YOR, and followed with an EP (independently released), Automobility, that August before splitting for college. They are still known on the local scene and re-form to play shows occasionally. A rendition of ‘Beautiful Room’, which The Misters cut in December of 2003, features production work by Michael Lutz of Tazmania Studios; was recently released on YOR’s latest compilation “From The Ground Up”.
