“VOLUME presents Poetry Night in Ann Arbor” was a live performance on December 10 2001, in the Schreiber Auditorium at Pioneer High School. This CD mirrors that event and reflects the energy and enthusiasm of that magical night and the electric power of performance poetry to reach hearts and minds of audiences everywhere. The VOLUME Poetry Project is a regular weekly program that meets at The Neutral Zone and encourages youth to express themselves through creative writing. In addition to writing and performing nationally recognized, award-winning poetry, Volume publishes a bi-annual magazine, individual artists poetry chapbooks, and record and release poetry CDs on the YOR label.
